A logo is an extremely important element to your business. It’s often the “first impression” you make to a potential customer. A quality professional logo is your organization’s best outfit. It shows that you’re serious about your business and handle it like a professional. It can instill confidence because if you’ve taken the time to invest in yourself, you likely handle your customer with the same attention and care.
If you’re reading this, your business savvy indicates you already know how important it is to have a professionally designed logo. So, why should you choose me as your designer?
Firstly, I personally will be designing your logo. I’m not a “we” in order to make you think you’re dealing with some big corporate company. You will be communicating directly with me. I pride myself in quick responses to my clients, almost always responding within 24 hours.
I design clean, often clever and/or witty logos. Logos are not “one size fits all” and your logo will be unique to your needs. My strength in design lies in communication. Listening to you, asking questions, and guiding you through the process.
I present you with competent, thoughtful logo design coupled with great “customer service” at affordable prices. Most logos range between $300-$500. I offer a service, not just a product. Your logo is designed from “scratch” and I create all my own artwork. I don’t use clip-art in my designs. While you can buy a license for clip-art, you can’t wholly own the art because the copyright belongs to someone else. It’s like “renting” your logo while never having the option to buy! So your logo is never really your own and someone else can use the same artwork in their logo. It may be easier to use clip-art, but it’s not the best thing for YOU, so I don’t.
The design process and what you can expect:
1- I’ll ask you to answer some questions that help me better understand your needs. Things such as: who your target audience is, how you will apply the logo (web/print), what makes your company distinct -setting you apart from the rest, styles of logos you like, what mood or message you want the logo to convey, colors, etc. The time invested will result in the best possible logo for you and is well worth it. You are investing in your best commodity: you.
2- I will research, brainstorm, and apply what you’ve told me to create a few logo concepts. By this point, we’ll have already discussed how many exactly and hammered out the details. 3 is usually sufficient. ***I discourage combining elements of all the logo concepts into one logo. It rarely works out in your best interest. Think about your three favorite articles of clothing. Now imagine wearing all of them a the same time. You may love all of them individually, but more than likely, wearing them as one outfit would have people wondering if you dressed in the dark! It works the same way with a logo design.
3- You decide which logo concept you want to use and we’ll modify it to your needs/liking as neccesary.
4- Finalize the design and deliver it to you in the file formats you require. A version for print and a jpg or gif for usage on the web. I’ll work with you in supplying the files for your printer.
Let me introduce you to the world.
